FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
What is your photography style?
Most of the photography on your wedding day will be considered wedding photojournalism. Capturing the day as it unfolds with no interference by the photographer. I aim for a simple, classic look, that captures the emotions shared throughout the day.
When working with the bride and groom, the wedding party and family formals, the emphasis shifts to more of an casual portrait approach. We give gentle direction and often naturally pose images as needed.
Where are you based?
I am based in Pleasant Hill, CA which is located in the San Francisco East Bay.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I love traveling and happy to do so! I have been as far and Maui, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic to capture weddings but looking to travel farther.
What are your rates?
All inclusive wedding packages available upon request. Packages start at $5,000.

How many weddings do you shoot a year?
We limit ourselves to 25 weddings so we can give our clients the time and great customer service we strive for.
How many images do we receive from our wedding?
It depends on the length of the day, typically about 800 to 1,200.
When will we get our photos?
We will have a viewing session booked between 3-4 weeks after your wedding where I present your images to you.
Do you use a second shooter?
Depending on the collection you choose a second shooter will be included. As your photographer I will be with you most of the day/night. A second shooter is a great addition to your wedding day that will capture those moments that will be happening around you during your day that I might not be able to. For example, the cocktail hour while I shoot the formals or the groom getting ready while I shoot the bride getting ready.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
We offer engagement session complimentary to our couples. The reason why is that I want to get to know you and I want you guys to get to know me. I want to learn how you both met and learn more about your wedding day. Many couple have never been in front of a professional camera and might have their reservations. Therefore the engagement session is a great way for us to go out for an hour or two to and have some fun in your favorite locations in a totally relaxed environment. When the wedding day comes around you will have already worked with me, have seen the images of the session, and I will just be just another friend with a fancy camera.
Do you have references from couples you have worked with?
I am happy to provide you with references to my couples. There are also several testimonials on my Yelp profile that can be seen here:

We have backup cameras and flashes of the same quality of the camera gear we use.
What file type do you photograph in? RAW or JPEG?
All images are shot in the RAW format, developed and optimized, and presented in JPEG format.
Do you offer wedding albums?
We do, we have several album options. From the classic handmade matted albums to the flush mount magazine style albums.
How long have you been in business?
What if you get sick and are not able to shoot our wedding?
Many of my great friends are also local wedding photographers. Often when I am not shooting my own weddings I am helping them or vice versa. Therefore, one of my close friends/colleagues would cover your wedding.
